- Planning: Evidence related to Content and Pedagogical Knowledge, Curriculum, Supporting Learner Needs, Understanding Diverse Learners and Diverse Learning Communities
- Instruction: Evidence related to Implementation of Music-Specific Pedagogy, Learning Environment, Fostering Engagement in Learning and Critical Thinking
- Assessment: Evidence related to Analysis of Student Learning, Developing Appropriate Measures of Student Growth, Developing Students’ Self-Evaluation, Educator Self-Reflection and Revision
- Knowledge: the aspect of declarative and procedural knowledge as necessary for effective practice
- Performance: the aspect that can be observed and assessed in teaching practice
- Disposition: the habits of professional action and moral commitments that underlie the performances
