A multifaceted musician.
Reed studied french horn with Professor Jeff Nelsen at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music and with Mark Houghton of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. He also studied classical voice with Dr. Brian Horne and conducting with Dr. Eric Smedley and Dr. Jason Nam. Outside of his regular teaching duties, Reed substitutes in the horn sections of the Indianapolis Symphonic Band and Indiana Wind Symphony, and has participated in several conducting workshops across the midwest.
